The Example

Our job is to be the example we desire to see and be exactly who God created us to be. Sometimes the best thing you can do for someone is live the life you preach about. Your actions will be louder than your words. Be conscious of your actions and how you carry yourself. Don’t fool yourself thinking you can talk about change but not live it yourself.  People are watching you, whether you know it or not, so make sure you’re being a positive role model. We all influence people everyday of our lives in some way. Someone admires you so make sure you’re not leading them astray. We’re vessels used by God (2 Corinthians 4:7). We have to remember that. I know personally there are moments I have to check myself and remind myself I’m a representative for God. So I have to leave the attitudes & sharp tongue behind and be lead by Love. We‘re not perfect, that’s a given but our lack of perfection is not an excuse to not try to live right. God has assigned people to you. There are certain people that only you can reach. So let God work through you to be the example he needs you to be. We have purpose to fulfill. Do your part, God's already done His part, and let them do theirs. Keep planting seeds and keep doing what you were called to do. Stay encouraged. #Time4Results #Harvest #Souls @Eriholmes @IBTMe

**I also want to extend the invitation for anyone to be part of God’s family who don’t know Christ yet or who‘d like to rededicate their lives. Romans 10:9-10 says, “9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”  Also, Luke 11:13 informs that the Father gives the Holy Spirit if you ask. So please repeat this prayer: Father in Heaven, I thank you for loving me so much that you sent your only begotten Son to die for me. I ask you now to forgive me of my sins and come into my heart to make me new.  I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that you raised Him from the dead. I accept Christ as my Lord and Savior.  Father, I’m ready to live for you. I also ask that you give me your Holy Spirit so I can continually be lead into all Truth. Thank you Father for saving me, In Jesus Name Amen.

Rejoice! You’re part of the family of God. Now allow God to make you over again into who He called you to be.

Thankful

Remember to be thankful. Appreciate what God has already done in your life. Thank Him for sending His Son to die for you. There’s so much that goes on day to day and our focus can be taken off what’s really important in life. Regardless of what you go through, you have to keep in mind that God has given you  something to be thankful for. Tell God how much you appreciate Him for even the small things. His command gets us up each morning. His goodness and mercy follows us all the days of our lives (Psalm 23:6). We have His favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12).
We need to stop and count our blessings to remind ourselves how blessed we really are. It’s not how many things or how much you have that should determine your gratitude but having a relationship with God and just knowing Him alone should be enough to make you grateful. I don’t know of anyone that would get abused, whipped, and die for me but Jesus did. Because of that fact alone, I’m forever grateful. Thank You Father.

Take the time to communicate to God how grateful you are. Stay encouraged, Stay in the race. Much Love All.

Stay Fit

God has given us dreams and promises but from conception time to delivery time we must do what’s necessary to ensure we’re prepared for them. We have to be not only spiritually fit for now and for the future but we need to be physically fit as well. God will not come off His throne to slap bad food out of your hands to prevent you from eating it. He’s given us the ability to make the choice to eat right and exercise. There’s so much that God has in store for us and there are many places he’d like us to go but if physically we’re not able to do Kingdom work, we limit what God can do through us. Yeah there’s nothing impossible for God to do but he’s also given us wisdom so that we can live better. All throughout the Bible it speaks about the people that God used and it also makes it very clear that they had to “get up” and do something to be in position and prepared for what was to come. God will never put sicknesses and diseases on you but some of our choices allow those types of things to come in our lives. We have to use the wisdom that God’s given us and do something to stay fit both spiritually and physically. Also, don’t get so used to the “magic pills” that help you lose weight or quick fit drugs. Understand that most of that stuff has side effects and could be doing your body more harm then good but learn to start at the root of things, look at what you’re eating. Watching what you eat is one important thing to staying fit but exercising is another huge part of staying fit. You have to discipline yourself enough to do what’s right to take care of your temple.

I’ll tell on myself, I never really liked exercising or eating right. I thought just because I was petite that I didn’t need to do those things, I was wrong. There was a time when I began to get more tired then usual and was feeling really sluggish so I made an appointment with my Doctor. I took tests, all came out showing nothing was wrong but my doctor told me no matter your size you still need to exercise and eat right. So I begin to exercise, eat better, take vitamins, & get proper rest, and honestly all the symptoms I was having begin to disappear. Sometimes it’s the simplest things that make the most difference. After that, God really begin to talk with me about taking care of my body. He begin to tell me I have the power to live a healthy life, the choice was up to me.

God wants us to fulfill the call He’s given us but we have to make sure we’re in agreement with His vision by taken care of our temples. Know that staying fit is not only to benefit you but it's for your Kingdom call, family, and friends as well. People need you. We hear a lot about being spiritually fit by staying in the Word, praying, coming to church, staying around like-minded ppl, etc. but we need to hear more about being physically fit and taking the time to be a better us physically as well. So let’s make sure we’re doing what we can so that we can see those dreams and promises manifested. As 1 Corinthians 6:19 says, " Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?" I want to challenge you to take the extra time to take care of your temple, remember, it belongs to God.
Find an exercise buddy to help you stay disciplined. Keep it right so He can use you.  Stay in the race.

Predestined to do the Impossible: You can handle It.

Know that God wouldn’t call you to a place if he didn’t equip you to fulfill the purpose of being in that place. When you gave your life to God and accepted His Spirit, you were ultimately saying, Lord I’m entrusting you with my life. Things that once laid dormant inside you have now become revived. The Spirit of God empowers , prepares, and equips you to handle anything. So when you face anything in life good or bad you don’t look at only your own strength to get through it. A life owned and lead by God is a life taken care of by God. It’s not our job to measure a situation to see if “we” think we can get through it. It’s our job to say ok, well I know my steps are ordered by God and with God I’m coming out on top. (Psalm 37:23, Phillippians 4:13). In Matthew 4, it says the Spirit lead Jesus into the wilderness, this means wherever you’re lead by God, you will see victory. You’re not put in a wilderness to die but we’re allowed in a wilderness to see clearly. You can preset your mind to the mode of, my life belongs to God, I’m lead by the Spirit, whatever I go through is to bring glory to God’s name so I’m good. You are predestined to do the impossible because you have the One who can do ALL things inside you. We’re vessels used by God (2 Corinthians 4:7).

Now is not the time to say I can’t do this or that but now is the time to see more victories and more results. This life is bigger than you and your own abilities, God’s given you His abilities, see clear. It’s the time to connect with those who are about their Kingdom assignments and move away from those who only want to drain you. You can’t afford to not let God use you and you can‘t afford to get distracted. It’s time to go after what you’ve always dreamt about, it‘s time to see beyond your own abilities, see the greater One at work, move! It’s time to excel forward. It’s catapulting season. If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, God will thrust you forward beyond expectation. No time for fear or unbelief, don’t let it contaminate and halt your future. It’s time to see more than ever before. Signs, miracles, wonders, extreme grace, and extreme favor time. God is shutting the mouth of the enemy on your behalf but you have to stop giving the enemy(opposors/naysayer’s) so much of your time/energy. The doors God open for you can not be shut by the devil , his demons, or other ppl and the ones He closes can’t be opened (Revelation 3:7).

The things that are about to be released and that are about to happen in your life is not so that you can hoard it all for yourself but for your Kingdom assignment. There are things God gives us to richly enjoy but we also have to see the bigger picture (1 Timothy 6:17-18). You’re not placed at the top just for you, you’re placed at the top to be a great influence for those under you. Will you make a difference when God promotes you? Will you forget how you got there? Will you hold onto what God has told you? Again, you have been predestined to do the impossible but you have to keep the right heart to do so. People are about to really know Who you belong to and that you believe God . Things are happening, don’t shy up now, you’ve been called for this time. Keep God 1st, acceleration time. Stay in the race.

Look Up!

Look up and you’ll begin to see that some things you’ve been waiting on are right front of you. You’ll begin to see that the help you’ve been waiting for is here. Don’t go through life down, depressed, and fearful. But be bold and live this life the way God intended. You are exactly who God wanted you to be, he didn’t make a mistake during creation. God made you for a specific purpose and it’s up to you to let Him show you what that purpose is. If we continue to have the wrong perspective about life, we’ll never view life as the blessing it’s supposed to be.  Don’t let temporary circumstances cause you to give away your joy. See hard times as a way to get closer to God. See tests as a way to get stronger and wiser. See life mistakes as a lesson learned and preparation for the future. You have to be willing to take the bad and see the good in it. You can’t enjoy life depressed, you must renew your mind and look ahead (Romans 12:2). There’s a reason why the Bible says, look to the hills from which comes your help, your help comes from the Lord. Psalm 121:1-2 “I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” Hills are not ground level and the only way you can see a hill, is if you look up. You can see God if you try to look for Him, you can get that promotion if you believe you can have it, you can be that business owner if you refuse to take “no” for an answer and failure as the final say. Everything God has for you in life will be given as you look up and follow Him. Learn to enjoy the moments in life and begin to redirect your focus. Instead of having a defeated mindset put on a renewed victorious mindset. Once you begin to have the right view on life, you can then begin to see yourself as an overcomer, the way God made you to be.You'll begin to see yourself with dominion, as it should be. So keep looking up, grab a hold of hope, and keep encouraging yourself. This isn’t the end, this is just the beginning for something great to happen in your life. If you believe it, you can receive it. We serve a God that can’t fail, we stay winning. Stay in the race.

Life’s Fulfillment

There are many times in life when we’re on the search to find “that thing” to fulfill us at that moment. We search high and low looking for answers. We take extra classes thinking, maybe if I had one more degree I’d be fulfilled or maybe if I worked overtime to get that dream house I‘d be fulfilled. The truth is, we’ll always be searching for something to fulfill us if God is not the center of our lives. We have to understand that we were made to have relationships and communication with God. From the beginning Adam talked with God, God was an active part of his life, and God gave him instructions. (Genesis 2:7-25). In life, we’re made to always have a longing for something deeper, we’re made to long for God. There’s no man, woman, or thing that will “always” keep you happy or fulfilled 100% of the time . Eventually people will let you down but when you have God 1st you can still function in disappointing times because you know Who permanently fulfills. God is truly one of a kind and He’s what makes us whole. With God at the center of your life you can have that great marriage, with God at the center of your life you can stay content on that job, with God at the center of your life you can stay fulfilled. Having the correct understanding of how important it is to have God first in your life and to know who fulfills is critical. Having this understanding will allow you to keep your joy because you understand where real joy comes from (God, not things). So take the time to ensure that you have God in proper place. Acknowledge Him, build a better relationship with Him. Make sure you’re not searching for some “thing” to fulfill you, when God is right there, He fulfills. Stay encouraged, know the truth. Stay in the Race.
