Merry Christmas!!

Merry CHRISTmas all :) . Remember God showed us the greatest example of giving when he gave us Jesus. We celebrate Christmas in remembrance of Jesus birth. So let God's love overtake you as you enjoy this day. Be grateful for those around you and no matter the gifts you give big or small, give them in love. Life is about showing the love God's shown us.

So keep smiling and remember God loves you!!

She Speaks...Wisdom from the Heart

From the heart....Don't wait for people to validate you, look to God to do that. God has already approved you. Be you and love who God made you to be. Don't let another person's opinions or actions stress you out. Don't let anyone prevent you from living your life. You are the only one who can live your life and walk in your shoes. Don't live life by another person's measuring stick, stay on the route God paved for you and you'll go beyond expectation. Be bold enough to go after your dreams, sensitive enough to follow your heart, and wise enough to let God take the lead. This life we live is not a competition, so don't be fooled, let your pace follow what God says. Learn your calling, pay attention to your gifts, and let your gifts make room for you. Remove negative energy/people from your life and replace them with something positive. Watch your words and only speak what you want to see in front of you. Your words hold power so don't create something disastrous. There is definitely power in your words. Continue to share love everywhere you go and leave a positive imprint in the world.

Stay focused, stay humbled, and stay encouraged.

XOXO

Self

Be willing to take a look at self. A lot of the times it's not what's going on outside that affects you most but what's going on inside. Sit and reflect. Make sure your perspective overall is right. Make sure you're built on a solid foundation. Don't be afraid to simplify to better find out who you are. Ask yourself why do you engage in the things you do? Why do you like the things you like? Why do you hang around the people you hang around? Why do you attract the people you attract? Why do you have the particular job you have?
It's necessary in life to be the real you, who God created you to be. God will help you along this journey.

I'm praying for you. Know you're never alone. Always seek God for help first and then others (preferably your spiritual leaders). If you have prayer requests send them to , info@ericadholmes.com or ms.eriholmes@gmail.com

You're loved XOXO :),

Power in the WORD

There is power in the Word of God. Never forget that. The Word is a sword in the spiritual realm. It IS the sword of the Spirit. As you speak the Word you’ll begin to see your earthly environment line up with it. There’s a reason why God said meditate on the word day and night. You have to get it inside you so whenever opposition comes your way, speak IT and watch barriers come down. As you speak the Word begin to visualize it cutting down whatever you’re facing. Literally see a sword coming out of your mouth damaging darkness. The Word is God, know what type of weapons you’re fighting with. You won’t lose with this tool! Jesus overcame temptation with it! Always remember, the enemy wouldn’t fight you if you didn’t have anything worth fighting for. There’s greatness in you. Keep moving and remind yourself everyday that the Word works, stay girded.

What's Keeping you???

What's keeping you from going after what you really want? Why do you keep settling? Do you not believe you have it in you to go all the way? Do you not believe God will carry out His promises and make it happen? God said he'll give you the desires of your heart so why are you not following your heart? You should never be afraid to go after what you desire. You should never be afraid to fail. You can learn a lot from what didn't work. Know that "what ifs" can keep you from your dreams. Don't allow what you think is going happen  keep you from moving forward. Know that you'll never know what will truly happen until you walk down that path. Don't allow fear or unbelief to prevent you from being happy. God's given you the courage you need to go all the way and he‘s with you every step of the way. So don't let “you” be the reason why you never lived the life you desired. Don’t talk yourself out of what you can have.

Psalms 37:4, Joshua 1:9

Keep God 1st, trust God, follow your heart, and soar.

Gifts

Use what God's given you. God gives us spiritual/natural gifts and talents for a reason. We're given these gifts to impact the world and to ultimately bring glory to God from them. Don't allow your gift(s) to be hidden due to fear, lack of confidence, or feeling weak in that area. Know that God gives you enough grace to carry out whatever is inside you. There is purpose for your life and God chose you, remember that. The only way you came to Christ is by God's leading. Know that God would not have called you if he didn't have a reason. Trust God's plan for your life and know that God orders your steps. So remind yourself as much as necessary that you're called by God ON purpose for a purpose. Never let another person prevent you from using your gifts. Stay in environments that pull your gifts out of you. Know that God will show you more gifts that are inside you as you use the ones you have or are aware of. One of the greatest ways to bring glory to God is by using your gifts and remembering where they came from. You have destiny to fulfill, Soar for Christ. IT'S IN YOU. -Erica

Keep it Moving! :)

You have to understand that there is opposition out here but with God you can make it through anything. God is greater than any opposition and so are you. Opposition comes to distract, discourage, and hopefully make you quit. You were chosen by God for a purpose and you can make it! No matter how it looks or how you feel, God will bring you out on top. Keep working, moving forward, and following the dreams God's given you. You were made win! Soar :).

You again fear? Move.

Fear only tries to be present when it knows ur carrying something great. It tries to stop "it" from being birthed because fear knows God placed greatness in you, God's in you. Fear tries to deceive you like what you need to pursue is not attainable. But understand you can do everything with Christ. You must realize if God called you to do a certain thing, it's possible regardless of how you feel. Know fear is a spirit that God has not given you. 2Timothy 1:7. God has given u boldness, power, love, sound mind, drive, endurance, and that vision! Don't waste ur time by being double-minded trying to figure out if God chose the right person to work through! Keep that sound mind! Peace I declare is yours! God choose the right person, he chose you! Boldness is in you, God is in you. Regardless of how fearful you feel push past fear with faith& movement. Fear can't survive when you continue to thrust forward. Fear  dissipates when you move!  Soar! Time to experience the fruit of the promise and the only way you'll get to the promise is if you keep moving in God. Overcome fear, use it as a footstep as you defeat it while stepping into your victory. -Erica

Walking IN IT

A reminder and a  few words of encouragement….Don’t be fooled, whatever God promised you will happen! No matter how it looks or how long it’s been, promises will be and are currently being manifested for you. Keep doing what you know to do, keep God’s Word in your heart, and watch everything fall into place. Don’t let deception overtake you, temporary undesirable situations do change! God has a plan for your life, keep moving & walk into your manifestation. It’s YOUR time.  :) Much love.

Open Our Eyes

Stressful situations or just being busy in life can make us, at times, miss what's right in front of us. Unfavorable circumstances can allow us to forget that God remains the same even when our situations don't. God is faithful and He's shown us that throughout the Bible as well as in our lives. In Genesis 21:19 it reads, "Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. And she went and filled the skin with water, and gave the lad a drink." Due to being in distress, Hagar didn't see what was right in front of her, God had to open her eyes to see it. Sometimes God has to help us refocus our vision to see what we don't see at first. When we learn to relax, we'll begin to see how much has been in front of us. When you understand that there's purpose for your life, you also understand provision will always be made to carry out the purpose, regardless of how it looks. Also, as the above scripture mentions, Hagar "went" to fill the skin with water, so action was required on her part even after her eyes were opened to the provision. You have to be willing to move when God shows you what's in front of you to possess it.

When you're in a situation that seems impossible that's just an opportunity for God to remind you of who He is. God is the impossible specialist. He takes what seems impossible to man and makes it possible every time, if you believe. So let God "open" your eyes to see what's always been there. Don't let an unfavorable situation blind you from the truth. The truth is God has you covered and has released everything you already need, you just have to be willing to refocus to begin to see it then be willing to act to possess it. Keep trusting God.

Prayer:
Lord, help us see what's already been there. Help us refocus to see what you've already released. Help us to trust you with every fiber of our beings. Help us to know who you are even the more and to know that you'll always have our back, front, and sides. Help us put actions to your Word and to what you allow us to see in  front of us. Open our eyes Lord, In Jesus Name, Amen.

Let Your Actions Speak, Encouragment

Keep showing love. When you don’t have the words to say, let your actions speak. Sometimes our actions can say it best. Grow into the person God created you to be. Learn to listen , make the necessary adjustments, and get better. We’re all made with what we need, time & experiences just brings it out of us. Your steps are ordered to where you are for a reason, so pay attention to the lesson to be learned. Ask God to let you say and do what you’re supposed to in every season of your life. As seasons change, growth should be apparent. Each test, trial, and experience, refines us and helps mold us to be like Christ on a daily, they help us to become a better person.  Never hide your light, let it shine bright, and never be shamed of who you are. You were hand-picked by God for this time, so keep a smile on your face, you’re going somewhere. God loves you dearly! :) Much luv, -Erica. #Soar #John3:16, #NeverForgotten #Psalm37:23

Shine Where You’re At

Regardless of your environment, never stop shining for Christ. Know that your environment doesn't determine or stop your faith, you do. Don’t allow challenging or dark situations to smother out who God called you to be. Know that because of Christ, you are the light and salt of this earth (Matthew 5:13-16). You’re not supposed to compromise your faith or identity to fit in. Know that God doesn't put you in high places to fit in and be like everyone else but you’re placed in high places to be like Christ. Know your call and never forget who you are. Regardless of how they may look at you, or how weird they may think you are, never compromise your faith. When you don’t forget your purpose, God will excel you to realms you never even imagine. Think about Joseph and Daniel (Genesis 41:37-57, Book of Daniel) . They weren't in Christian environments but look at what God did for them. Favor never left them and neither did God. Because God was with them he excelled them beyond belief. God can make you Pharaohs right hand man, just like Joseph. God can be setting you up for promotion. Don’t despise or fear your environments.  We can’t be afraid to shine because of the ruler we see in place. Who we see in power today, can change tomorrow. The world need to see who God is too. Remember, Jesus came for the lost. We have to remember who God is and what He is capable of.  Know who YOU serve, the ALL powerful One. Just because a Pharaoh may be in high places doesn't mean God can’t put you in high places too. God will use who he pleases, remember that. So let the world know you’re not ashamed of the Gospel and you’re not shamed of who God created you to be. Don’t be religious but be real. Show the world what God can do when you keep Him first and refuse to compromise. Shine for Christ and never put your light out. Forward.

Even Alone

Even the disciples weren't always there for Jesus when he needed them most. At the Garden of Gethsemane they couldn't even stay up and pray with Him (Matthew 26:36-46). They fell asleep right before the greatest event in His life was about to take place. But Jesus pushed forward and went through His test anyway. Never get discouraged when it seems like you're facing this world alone. Know that God is with you through it all and with God you can make it through anything. Our job is not to depend on people but to depend on God. Just like Jesus, some things we face in life everyone can't face it with us. Everyone won't be allowed to go through the complete tests with us. We may have people with us as we start out in a test but by the end of it, it may be just you and God. God will place who you need in your life so never fear that but never view people as your savior. God does work through people and they can assist & encourage us but it's God that ultimately saves us. So keep your joy, you won't go under, God got you! Even if it seems like you’ve failed you can get back up again and start over (Proverbs 24:16). God's given you the ability to do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). Keep your focus right, whatever you go through you're victorious. Know the truth. Stay encouraged.

The Chilling Truth

If you're not happy, you can make changes..We hold more power than we think. Some walk around sad and distraught because of their situations. The truth is wecan change most things and for the things we can't change, we can change our mindset about them. Your mindset, the way you think, can propel you into your future or hold you back from moving forward in life. A lot of times we can let small situations overtake our lives. God said, we have dominion over all things on earth so we must act like it (Genesis 1:26). Of course there are situations that only God can fix but in those situations we must refuse to let our joy be taken away. If God is handling a situation then you know it'll be taken care of. There is NO situation too hard for God, remember that.

So keep a smile on your face and know who you are in God. God has our back, He has us covered. Learn to rest in God's word and continually do what you have the power to do. Don't lose your peace or joy over a temporary situation but keep your eyes fixed on the permanent God. So choose to be happy. Stay encouraged.

Unity

Psalm 133
"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Running down on the beard,
The beard of Aaron,
Running down on the edge of his garments.
3 It is like the dew of Hermon,
Descending upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the Lord commanded the blessing—
Life forevermore."

Amazing things happen when we dwell together in unity. God seems to show Himself in mighty ways when we unite. Unity brings strength and motivation. Acts 2:1-4 is a great example of what type of amazing things can happen when we‘re on one accord.” When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”  Also in Matthew 18:19 it speaks about the power of agreement, “
19 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Another great verse that speaks of unity, is Amos 3:3” Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?”

Not only do we need to walk together in unity, be on one accord, with other people but we need to be on one accord with the Word. We have to agree with the Word of God if we want to see it manifest. In order to believe what God says, you have to agree with what God says. It is impossible to see the Word manifest without agreeing with it. Jesus made agreement so clear in the scriptures.  When people needed something from Him, they would get in agreement with what He told them in order to see the desired results. We must continually allow our lives to be aligned, be in agreement, with His word. There’s so much that God desires to do for us, through us, and to us but we must learn to agree with Him and end double-mindedness (James 1:6-7).

We must also encourage each other to keep believing the Word of God and stay aligned with it. When we stick together we can hold each other up. The more you connect with others the greater bonds you can build. The more united you are with others, the easier it becomes to accomplish corporate tasks. It’s easy for the evil one to attack one but it’s harder to attack more than one at a time. Some people have talked themselves into isolation and that can be a dangerous place. When one is going through and they have no one to talk to, they become very vulnerable and the evil one loves to attack at what he believes is your most vulnerable moments. You must be willing to get out of your comfort zones and connect with others even when you don’t feel like it.  We must set aside our differences and refuse to allow division in our lives. As Jesus said, a house divided cannot stand (Matthew 12:25). We have to be willing to love and give no energy to foolishness or anything else that would cause division. There’s purpose for our lives and it’ll require unity in some way. So if you have a problem staying united with others, ask God to help you. God will show you the root of your issues to help you deal with it properly. Now is not the time to be isolated but it’s the time to come together to see God move in a greater way. So do your part to stay united with others and to stay aligned with His Word. It’s time to see more results. Stay encouraged, stay in the race.

Loyalty

Just a couple words, Stay loyal. Regardless of what you give people or what they take, stay loyal. Never let a person's actions take you out of character or cause you to give up. Learn to stay faithful when few seem to be. Learn to keep moving when times get challenging and learn to keep your word. Remember, in life if you can't keep your word, don't give it. Know that faithfulness and consistency pays off. Stay encouraged and keep moving forward.

Goodbye Victim, Hello Victory

In life you have to know how to choose your battles. You must always know when it’s time to let go of certain things, situations, or people. Everybody has gone through something in life at some point that wasn’t favorable and we must learn how to move pass the past and live joyfully for now as well as our future. Past traumas or disappointments may try to visit your thoughts every now and then but you have to know when to tell those pestering thoughts that visitation is over. Your past hurts/disappointments may have you operating from a victim mindset but you must know how to overcome that mentality to move on to a victory mindset. The mere fact that you’re still here after all you’ve been through, should be clear evidence that you were made to be victorious. It’s easy to point fingers at other parties who you believe are responsible for your past hurts but to be honest, that’ll only keep you in a victim mindset. You must learn to forgive for your own sanity and freedom. You must learn to take responsibility for your own life and move on. The people that once hurt you may never apologize so be willing to make the mature decision to forgive them anyway. Also, be willing to look at yourself to see what you need to change to be a better you. You must realize that the life you have, only you can live. You can’t allow what happened in your past to keep you in bondage forever. Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed. So do yourself a favor and choose to let go of past hurts and disappointments. It’s time to be free. There‘s so much more to life then what you‘ve already been through. Look in the mirror and remind yourself of the things God says about you. Never forget, Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Keep telling yourself, “My future looks bright,” in Jesus Name. So regardless of what you’ve encountered or will encounter, keep your eyes on God and you’ll always end in victory. Stay encouraged Victor and keep God 1st.

That Abraham Faith

Quick thought: We can learn a lot from Abraham  just in Genesis 22 between verses 2 and 3. God spoke and Abraham obeyed, no questions. Sometimes we can talk ourselves out of the blessing God want us to have by overthinking what we’re supposed to do. We have to keep in mind that God knows and has seen our end to our beginning. There's a reason why God asks you to do certain things. God is not trying to trick you but He's trying to bless you.

Think about it, how would your parents react or feel if every time they asked you to do something you had a million questions before doing it? Just as most parents, they have your best interest at heart, God has your best interest at heart. There’s a purpose for the route God will have you take in life. See the bigger picture, God loves you too much to waste your time. So trust Him and what He asks you to do. Know that you’ll always be lead to victory when God is leading you. So regardless if you understand all the instructions God gives you in life, just follow them. As Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” He’s directing you to destiny.  Have faith in God, the One that CAN’T fail. Stay encouraged, Eri

The Chosen Shall end First Place

You may start last but stay encouraged that's not your final destination. The Bible says, last shall be first for many are called but few are chosen (Matthew 20:16). The race is not about who can start the quickest but it's about who can endure to the end. Just because everyone around you may seem to be soaring by you, that doesn't mean you'll end in last place. As I often say, you have to know your race and know your pace. God can soar you beyond expectation in a blink of an eye. Everyone may have counted you out, forgotten about you, people may have even given up on you but if you'll just hold on to God he'll soar you to where you need to be. As the late Apostle Betty would say, God is up to something good. Never forget that. Know that people don't determine your success, you do by the choices you make so keep moving. God is in the business of using the foolish things(the world may think) to shame the wise (1 Corinthians 1:27). He takes those who people least expect and make them kings and queens (1 Samuel 16). He can take who He pleases at any moment regardless of education, qualification, financial position, status, and bring you from the back to the front. Rejoice because God remains faithful and He ALWAYS has your best interest at heart(Hebrews 10:23). So don't get discouraged if you started getting established late in life or if you have to start over or if you don't feel qualified because God qualifies those He calls! Keep moving forward in the things of God and know who God is. HE can't lose, keep Him first. God Bless. -Eri

Keep Growing

There’s always a lesson to be learned, so pay attention. You have to be willing to grow with the test and keep overcoming the obstacles. God sees everything even when you can’t. So never lose hope or your focus. Now is not the time to back up but it’s time to thrust forth. We have work to do. Things will not always be the way you want them but if you keep letting God lead you, they’ll turn out better. God will always give you beyond expectation when you do things His way(Ephesians 3:20). No pity parties, stay content. You can do ALL things through Christ who gives you strength (Philipians 4:13). There are things you won’t be able to go around but you’ll have to go through them. Either way, God is with you the whole time and will never leave your side. Keep maturing and go to the new levels God want you to be at. Sometimes, you may have to be uncomfortable to be positioned for greatness. In all that you do, never forget that life is worth living. When life throws a punch at you, punch back, don’t give up and you’ll see your desired results. Keep walking out purpose and keep God 1st.  You’re on the winner’s road. Stay Blessed.

The Example

Our job is to be the example we desire to see and be exactly who God created us to be. Sometimes the best thing you can do for someone is live the life you preach about. Your actions will be louder than your words. Be conscious of your actions and how you carry yourself. Don’t fool yourself thinking you can talk about change but not live it yourself.  People are watching you, whether you know it or not, so make sure you’re being a positive role model. We all influence people everyday of our lives in some way. Someone admires you so make sure you’re not leading them astray. We’re vessels used by God (2 Corinthians 4:7). We have to remember that. I know personally there are moments I have to check myself and remind myself I’m a representative for God. So I have to leave the attitudes & sharp tongue behind and be lead by Love. We‘re not perfect, that’s a given but our lack of perfection is not an excuse to not try to live right. God has assigned people to you. There are certain people that only you can reach. So let God work through you to be the example he needs you to be. We have purpose to fulfill. Do your part, God's already done His part, and let them do theirs. Keep planting seeds and keep doing what you were called to do. Stay encouraged. #Time4Results #Harvest #Souls @Eriholmes @IBTMe

**I also want to extend the invitation for anyone to be part of God’s family who don’t know Christ yet or who‘d like to rededicate their lives. Romans 10:9-10 says, “9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”  Also, Luke 11:13 informs that the Father gives the Holy Spirit if you ask. So please repeat this prayer: Father in Heaven, I thank you for loving me so much that you sent your only begotten Son to die for me. I ask you now to forgive me of my sins and come into my heart to make me new.  I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that you raised Him from the dead. I accept Christ as my Lord and Savior.  Father, I’m ready to live for you. I also ask that you give me your Holy Spirit so I can continually be lead into all Truth. Thank you Father for saving me, In Jesus Name Amen.

Rejoice! You’re part of the family of God. Now allow God to make you over again into who He called you to be.

Thankful

Remember to be thankful. Appreciate what God has already done in your life. Thank Him for sending His Son to die for you. There’s so much that goes on day to day and our focus can be taken off what’s really important in life. Regardless of what you go through, you have to keep in mind that God has given you  something to be thankful for. Tell God how much you appreciate Him for even the small things. His command gets us up each morning. His goodness and mercy follows us all the days of our lives (Psalm 23:6). We have His favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12).
We need to stop and count our blessings to remind ourselves how blessed we really are. It’s not how many things or how much you have that should determine your gratitude but having a relationship with God and just knowing Him alone should be enough to make you grateful. I don’t know of anyone that would get abused, whipped, and die for me but Jesus did. Because of that fact alone, I’m forever grateful. Thank You Father.

Take the time to communicate to God how grateful you are. Stay encouraged, Stay in the race. Much Love All.

Stay Fit

God has given us dreams and promises but from conception time to delivery time we must do what’s necessary to ensure we’re prepared for them. We have to be not only spiritually fit for now and for the future but we need to be physically fit as well. God will not come off His throne to slap bad food out of your hands to prevent you from eating it. He’s given us the ability to make the choice to eat right and exercise. There’s so much that God has in store for us and there are many places he’d like us to go but if physically we’re not able to do Kingdom work, we limit what God can do through us. Yeah there’s nothing impossible for God to do but he’s also given us wisdom so that we can live better. All throughout the Bible it speaks about the people that God used and it also makes it very clear that they had to “get up” and do something to be in position and prepared for what was to come. God will never put sicknesses and diseases on you but some of our choices allow those types of things to come in our lives. We have to use the wisdom that God’s given us and do something to stay fit both spiritually and physically. Also, don’t get so used to the “magic pills” that help you lose weight or quick fit drugs. Understand that most of that stuff has side effects and could be doing your body more harm then good but learn to start at the root of things, look at what you’re eating. Watching what you eat is one important thing to staying fit but exercising is another huge part of staying fit. You have to discipline yourself enough to do what’s right to take care of your temple.

I’ll tell on myself, I never really liked exercising or eating right. I thought just because I was petite that I didn’t need to do those things, I was wrong. There was a time when I began to get more tired then usual and was feeling really sluggish so I made an appointment with my Doctor. I took tests, all came out showing nothing was wrong but my doctor told me no matter your size you still need to exercise and eat right. So I begin to exercise, eat better, take vitamins, & get proper rest, and honestly all the symptoms I was having begin to disappear. Sometimes it’s the simplest things that make the most difference. After that, God really begin to talk with me about taking care of my body. He begin to tell me I have the power to live a healthy life, the choice was up to me.

God wants us to fulfill the call He’s given us but we have to make sure we’re in agreement with His vision by taken care of our temples. Know that staying fit is not only to benefit you but it's for your Kingdom call, family, and friends as well. People need you. We hear a lot about being spiritually fit by staying in the Word, praying, coming to church, staying around like-minded ppl, etc. but we need to hear more about being physically fit and taking the time to be a better us physically as well. So let’s make sure we’re doing what we can so that we can see those dreams and promises manifested. As 1 Corinthians 6:19 says, " Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?" I want to challenge you to take the extra time to take care of your temple, remember, it belongs to God.
Find an exercise buddy to help you stay disciplined. Keep it right so He can use you.  Stay in the race.

Predestined to do the Impossible: You can handle It.

Know that God wouldn’t call you to a place if he didn’t equip you to fulfill the purpose of being in that place. When you gave your life to God and accepted His Spirit, you were ultimately saying, Lord I’m entrusting you with my life. Things that once laid dormant inside you have now become revived. The Spirit of God empowers , prepares, and equips you to handle anything. So when you face anything in life good or bad you don’t look at only your own strength to get through it. A life owned and lead by God is a life taken care of by God. It’s not our job to measure a situation to see if “we” think we can get through it. It’s our job to say ok, well I know my steps are ordered by God and with God I’m coming out on top. (Psalm 37:23, Phillippians 4:13). In Matthew 4, it says the Spirit lead Jesus into the wilderness, this means wherever you’re lead by God, you will see victory. You’re not put in a wilderness to die but we’re allowed in a wilderness to see clearly. You can preset your mind to the mode of, my life belongs to God, I’m lead by the Spirit, whatever I go through is to bring glory to God’s name so I’m good. You are predestined to do the impossible because you have the One who can do ALL things inside you. We’re vessels used by God (2 Corinthians 4:7).

Now is not the time to say I can’t do this or that but now is the time to see more victories and more results. This life is bigger than you and your own abilities, God’s given you His abilities, see clear. It’s the time to connect with those who are about their Kingdom assignments and move away from those who only want to drain you. You can’t afford to not let God use you and you can‘t afford to get distracted. It’s time to go after what you’ve always dreamt about, it‘s time to see beyond your own abilities, see the greater One at work, move! It’s time to excel forward. It’s catapulting season. If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, God will thrust you forward beyond expectation. No time for fear or unbelief, don’t let it contaminate and halt your future. It’s time to see more than ever before. Signs, miracles, wonders, extreme grace, and extreme favor time. God is shutting the mouth of the enemy on your behalf but you have to stop giving the enemy(opposors/naysayer’s) so much of your time/energy. The doors God open for you can not be shut by the devil , his demons, or other ppl and the ones He closes can’t be opened (Revelation 3:7).

The things that are about to be released and that are about to happen in your life is not so that you can hoard it all for yourself but for your Kingdom assignment. There are things God gives us to richly enjoy but we also have to see the bigger picture (1 Timothy 6:17-18). You’re not placed at the top just for you, you’re placed at the top to be a great influence for those under you. Will you make a difference when God promotes you? Will you forget how you got there? Will you hold onto what God has told you? Again, you have been predestined to do the impossible but you have to keep the right heart to do so. People are about to really know Who you belong to and that you believe God . Things are happening, don’t shy up now, you’ve been called for this time. Keep God 1st, acceleration time. Stay in the race.

Look Up!

Look up and you’ll begin to see that some things you’ve been waiting on are right front of you. You’ll begin to see that the help you’ve been waiting for is here. Don’t go through life down, depressed, and fearful. But be bold and live this life the way God intended. You are exactly who God wanted you to be, he didn’t make a mistake during creation. God made you for a specific purpose and it’s up to you to let Him show you what that purpose is. If we continue to have the wrong perspective about life, we’ll never view life as the blessing it’s supposed to be.  Don’t let temporary circumstances cause you to give away your joy. See hard times as a way to get closer to God. See tests as a way to get stronger and wiser. See life mistakes as a lesson learned and preparation for the future. You have to be willing to take the bad and see the good in it. You can’t enjoy life depressed, you must renew your mind and look ahead (Romans 12:2). There’s a reason why the Bible says, look to the hills from which comes your help, your help comes from the Lord. Psalm 121:1-2 “I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” Hills are not ground level and the only way you can see a hill, is if you look up. You can see God if you try to look for Him, you can get that promotion if you believe you can have it, you can be that business owner if you refuse to take “no” for an answer and failure as the final say. Everything God has for you in life will be given as you look up and follow Him. Learn to enjoy the moments in life and begin to redirect your focus. Instead of having a defeated mindset put on a renewed victorious mindset. Once you begin to have the right view on life, you can then begin to see yourself as an overcomer, the way God made you to be.You'll begin to see yourself with dominion, as it should be. So keep looking up, grab a hold of hope, and keep encouraging yourself. This isn’t the end, this is just the beginning for something great to happen in your life. If you believe it, you can receive it. We serve a God that can’t fail, we stay winning. Stay in the race.

Life’s Fulfillment

There are many times in life when we’re on the search to find “that thing” to fulfill us at that moment. We search high and low looking for answers. We take extra classes thinking, maybe if I had one more degree I’d be fulfilled or maybe if I worked overtime to get that dream house I‘d be fulfilled. The truth is, we’ll always be searching for something to fulfill us if God is not the center of our lives. We have to understand that we were made to have relationships and communication with God. From the beginning Adam talked with God, God was an active part of his life, and God gave him instructions. (Genesis 2:7-25). In life, we’re made to always have a longing for something deeper, we’re made to long for God. There’s no man, woman, or thing that will “always” keep you happy or fulfilled 100% of the time . Eventually people will let you down but when you have God 1st you can still function in disappointing times because you know Who permanently fulfills. God is truly one of a kind and He’s what makes us whole. With God at the center of your life you can have that great marriage, with God at the center of your life you can stay content on that job, with God at the center of your life you can stay fulfilled. Having the correct understanding of how important it is to have God first in your life and to know who fulfills is critical. Having this understanding will allow you to keep your joy because you understand where real joy comes from (God, not things). So take the time to ensure that you have God in proper place. Acknowledge Him, build a better relationship with Him. Make sure you’re not searching for some “thing” to fulfill you, when God is right there, He fulfills. Stay encouraged, know the truth. Stay in the Race.

Truth Is...

You are a child of God (1 John 4)
You were made to triumph (2 Corinthians 2:14)
You were chosen by God (Ephesians 1:4)
You are greater than the test (Romans 8:37)
You are the apple of God’s eye (Zechariah 2:8)
You are never forgotten by God (Isaiah 44:21)
You are the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:13)
You are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus above every principality, power, dominion, and name (Ephesians 1:21, 2:6)

Sometimes we need to be reminded of the truth!! As children of God, these truths NEVER change!! So regardless of what you go through, remember the truth!! You’re coming out! Rejoice. Stay Encouraged.

Wisdom

Proverbs 4: 12 "When you walk, your steps will not be hindered, And when you run, you will not stumble." Always be guided by wisdom. Never be in such a hurry that you end up making decisions that takes your life in the wrong direction. Hear God concerning your life then plan accordingly. Know that the plans the Lord has for your life will prevail. So keep letting Him take the lead and live a fulfilled life.

Also remember, life is supposed to be enjoyed. It's time for the people of God to enjoy life and keep your joy. When you understand Who's leading your life, your joy should never leave.

Stay encouraged all.

*if you're not saved and want to be, repeat this prayer: Father in Heaven, forgive me of my sins. I'm ready to turn my life around and live for you. God I believe you raised Jesus from the dead and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord. Be my Lord and personal Savior, for now and forevermore. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen. Romans 10:9

Much love-

Stop Running in Circles

(Make this personal by reading this aloud and putting your name in it.)

There comes a time when you have to stop running in circles. Certain patterns you're used to living that bring you to the same results in life must be ended, if you desire to go higher. I know many may not know what to do to break a pattern so they do nothing and stay in the pattern. To break a pattern you must do something different. When you do something different, you get a different result. If you've always left relationships, jobs, or whatever else without closure, it's time to mature and have closure in your life by stop being a runner. We can't run from every problem in life. There are some things we have to face and fight through. God can and will either help you over, around, or through every situation in life. The key words in that last sentence was "help you." We have to put in the work to see certain cycles broken. There are things we have to do for change to occur. If you're currently in a cycle and want something different, ask yourself what keeps me in this pattern? Fear, lack of confidence, shame, guilt, laziness, etc? Be real with yourself to be the better you. We have more power than we think. God has given us the ability to recognize something needs to change and the power to change things. So keep going until you break the norm and get to your new normal. It's time to go beyond where you've been. It's time to see life as God intended it to be. It's time to be all God called you to be. It's time to stop talking yourself out of your blessings. It's time to see yourself as capable. It's time to see yourself the way God sees you. It's time to be bold as a lion and believe God. It's not time to worry but it's time to have faith in a new way. We don't see birds on a branch with the shakes because of worry, so we definitely shouldn't worry. The Bible says the birds don't sow nor reap but they're taken care of (Matthew 6:26). So no excuses, you can stop running in circles because destiny is ahead of you, not behind you. Have faith in God. #StayInTheRace @EriHolmes (twitter)

Jesus Saves Us, Remember That....

Mark 10:23-31 “Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!” 24 And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches[d] to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

26 And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, “Who then can be saved?”

27 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

28 Then Peter began to say to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You.”

29 So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife[e] or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, 30 who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life. 31 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”

I wanted to point out a few things within this passage. In verse 24, Jesus answered how hard is it for those who “trust” in riches to enter the kingdom of God. This doesn’t mean that you can’t be rich but it means that you shouldn’t trust in things nor put them before God. You must have God before everything understanding that it’s Jesus that saves, not things. You must also know that it’s God that allows you to get possessions. Your possessions are to be used by you, not to use you or be your god (Matthew 6:24). I believe Jesus also mentioned riches because that’s something that people hold on to dearly. In Matthew 6:21 it says, For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.“ This means, what you value the most is where your heart is. People are serious about their money and most people only motive in life is to make money. They let it in a way, be their god when indeed, our motives in life should be to please God and to be of service to others. I’ve definitely been guilty of this before until I was brought down to ground zero, nothing.
There are times we go through things and this statement is made more evident. You may have gone through or going through a time where things are being taken away from you. During this time you understand that your joy or life is not controlled or valued by things but it’s controlled and valued by God. You have to understand that as in Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” This gives you the correct understanding that as you put God before everything in life (riches, family, friends, etc), you’ll then begin to see additional things come to you. Doing this shows God where your heart is. God wants to know that when you have things and when you don’t, He’s still first in your life. He wants to ensure that you’re not saying He’s first when things are only going well but you can also say and put Him first when people turn their back on you, or whatever else that may come to challenge you.

Also, within this same passage of scriptures in verses 29-31, Jesus ensures His followers that as they make Him first in life and be about His way of doing things, whatever you gave up you will receive back and more. Verse 30 clearly states that you’ll receive back “in this time” and then He also mentions in eternal life. He also mentions that even though things will be multiplied unto you, you’ll still have to go through some things in life. This is another point, God never promised that we wouldn’t go through anything but he did promise that He’d be there through EVERYTHING we go through (Deuteronomy 31:6&8, Joshua 1:9, Hebrews 13:5) . When we can accept that He’s with us through it all, we can then be assured that we’ll come out in victory each time.

So make sure you have God before everything which means He’s most important to you in life. We must keep in mind that it’s God that gave us breath and wakes us up each morning, not our alarm clocks. It’s God that gave us gifts/ability to acquire skills/wealth/etc. Jesus is the Vine, we are the branches and without Him we can do nothing (John 15:5). When you truly understand that, putting God first will be easy. So reflect and ensure that you do indeed have God before everything. Remember, God didn’t give us things to save us, He gave us Jesus to save us. Put your trust in the right One. Stay in the race.

Fighting with Purpose

Mark 9: 14- 29 "14 And when He came to the disciples, He saw a great multitude around them, and scribes disputing with them. 15 Immediately, when they saw Him, all the people were greatly amazed, and running to Him, greeted Him. 16 And He asked the scribes, “What are you discussing with them?”

17 Then one of the crowd answered and said, “Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit. 18 And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.”

19 He answered him and said, “O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me.” 20 Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth.

21 So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?”

And he said, “From childhood. 22 And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”

23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe,[a] all things are possible to him who believes.”

24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it: “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!” 26 Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, “He is dead.” 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.

28 And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?”

29 So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.”

I want to take a different look at this scripture. Do you know you have greatness inside you and that’s why the enemy seeks to destroy you?  It’s not you he’s after, he’s after the purpose you hold. This is why things come at you to distract you, confuse you, and take you off your God paved path for good. Just as the Bible Says in John 10:10, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” The enemy is literally coming to attempt to take away what God placed in you and that’s why he doesn’t want you to move forward in life or to walk worthy in what you’ve been called to do (Ephesians 4:1). I had you read this scripture to show how the enemy seeks to destroy us but know that Jesus came to give us life. Everything that was happening to that boy in this scripture was an attack from the evil one to take him out but realize that we have the greater One that’s in us (1 John 4:4). Regardless of what the enemy tried to do the boy’s father would NOT let him be taken out. He did whatever he could to keep him from dying. The people that come to try to distract and discourage you, the mean boss, the family that ridicules you, the people that lie on you, it’s all an attempt to make you give up so that what’s in you never comes out. You have something in you to help someone else, you have truth in you, you have love in you, you have life in you, you have destiny in you. You have a future but the devil doesn’t. The devil has already been told to the lake of fire he goes so he desires to take away everyone else’s futures but don’t let him (Revelation 20:10). Stay connected to God, stay in the Word (Bible), keep a prayer life, stay around other saints to pour back in you. You have to know the truth so that you don’t give up and don’t be deceived. The enemy may have his plan for your life but know that God has a better plan. God plans to use you for His glory. He plans to bring every promise He’s given you to past (Hebrews 10:23). He plans to give you blessings that make you rich and add no sorrow (Proverbs 10:22). His plans are for good and not for evil so go with God and remember what He says (Jeremiah 29:11). You have to live this life out with knowledge and truth. When you believe what God says about you, you’ll go all the way and you’ll refuse to be stopped by opposition. So stay in your race and live life the way it’s supposed to be. You’re an overcomer and with God you can overcome anything that’s thrown at you, remember that. Also, remember what type of battle this is, Ephesians 6:12 ”For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Stay armored up, Ephesians 6:10-19. But also remember this, Ephesians 2:4-6  "4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus." Ephesians 1:17-22, "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding[c] being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 2which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all."

Remember where your position was after Jesus' resurrection. There’s a reason for your stand, You’re fighting with purpose. Stay encouraged.

Suicide is NOT an Option

It seems like recently every other day we're hearing about someone committing suicide. Suicide is not an option people. There are MANY times when I feel overwhelmed and like I'm at the end of the rope but God supernaturally gives me strength. I've also learn to let people know when I need help. You guys, we must be more sensitive to people who don't have a relationship with God. We have to encourage more and cut off foolish talk & tear downs. It hurts my heart every time I hear about someone that committed suicide because life is worth living. Life is precious and we're supposed to have dominion over everything on earth (Genesis). We're made to be overcomers. I've learned throughout life that with God I can get through anything. The disappointments, headaches, and whatever else, is not worth taken your life. Storms and trials don't last always, remember that. Also understand if you're dealing with suicidal thoughts or have a failed attempt at it(tried to do it), know that the only reason the enemy is trying to have you take your life is because there's greatness inside you and in your future. The enemy or opposition tries to convince you that things will never get better when in fact they will get better, you just have to choose to keep going on. Put pride and whatever else aside to get help when you need it. It's ok to get help, especially when you feel like giving up. Understand there's churches all over the world that have prayer lines to help you through your moments. I admit, I've called prayer lines before because I understand the power of prayer and agreement. So choose to live and keep the hope. There are things in life to live for. You have a whole future ahead of you. Regardless if a person looks like they need encouragement or not, be willing to share kinds words. Don't let suicide be the answer to your problems, we need you. If you haven't heard anyone tell you that you're love, I'm here to say Jesus loves you and so do I. Be willing to get help.
Below I've listed some numbers you can call to get help or prayer. Also if you need to talk, I'm here. I'm not a professional therapist but I do know how to pray and listen. I can be reached at , info.ibtm@gmail.com.

Plan

Hey all. I want to encourage you all to plan properly and stay prepared for great opportunities. There are some things that are about to open for some of you but you have to be prepared to walk through it. Keep listening to God's voice and following His lead.  I also want to encourage the entrepreneurs to keep moving forward with your businesses. Regardless of how it looks, if God told you to start the business and gave you the vision for it he’ll also give the provision as well. So no excuses, don’t give up, keep going. From personal experience I know how hard it could be starting a business from scratch. But don’t lose hope !!
It’s so important to have a plan or vision board written out that helps you remember what it is you’re going after. It also helps you stay on track. You have to be willing to do the practical preparation to see something manifest. Also, never be afraid to plan big, remember we have a big God. There is truly nothing impossible if we only believe.  So stay on track and don’t be moved by feelings or people but continually to be lead by faith. Love you all!! There’s so much ahead for us, stay encouraged.
If you have a prayer requests let me know, info.ibtm@gmail.com

Keep God 1st & God Bless!

What You Have, Use It

Sometimes we search everywhere else looking for what we need when indeed what we need is closer than we think. Take a moment and reflect on what you have. Just as Jesus told Peter to go fishing and get the money out of the fish’s mouth that was needed to pay temple taxes, in that same way use what you know to do to meet your needs. (Matthew 17:24-27) Peter was a fishermen by trade, it‘s what he did for a living before becoming Jesus‘ disciple. (Matthew 4:18-20)You have to be willing to work with what you have now to get you to where you desire to be.  Know that when God sees you doing what you know to do with what you have, he’ll give you more by opening up other doors to do more. God’s given us skills and gifts to be used, he‘s enabled us. So stay content and keep working toward your dreams.  Stay in the Race.

Want to Say....

I just want to add this post really quickly. I want to encourage you all to hold on to whatever God has promised you and don’t be so easy to give up. When you feel like God’s placed something in your heart and it won’t go away, keep going after it. Use what you have right now even if it may not seem like enough and take it one step at time, you’ll get there. At times, we can give up so easily because what you’re going after can take more than you’re used to giving but know that great things are worth holding on for. So no matter what you face, if God told you it was in your future don’t let anything convince you otherwise. Yeah we all get tired sometimes but know that God will give you the strength to soar above anything opposing your dream so that you can get to it. I firmly believe that whatever you’re going through right now or whatever opposition you face today, won’t be able to measure up or compare to the things God has in store for you. Your latter will be greater than your former. I pray supernatural strength to you all. May you not faint and may you reach your due season. Receive the promise. God Bless.  (Numbers 23:19, Galatians 6:9, Isaiah 40, Haggai 2:9)

Sometimes Rejection is Protection

Sometimes rejection is protection. Maybe you’re thinking too small. Maybe you’re not looking in the right direction. Maybe God want you to trust Him a bit more before that big break. Regardless of why, maybe the rejection you experience is for your protection. It could be protecting you from settling, it could protecting you from misery, it could be protecting you from making the wrong moves all together. When your life is in God’s hand it’ll always turn out better than expected. A simple “no” right now could be preparing you for the grand “yes” to come. So keep your joy, it’s all working together for your good (Romans 8:28) and keep declaring the Word over your life. So instead of focusing on the “why not” from your past, keep focusing on God and He’ll get you to the right future. Keep the hope, don’t lose heart, you’re not forgotten. You're a day closer to the manifestations of your heart's desires. Stay in the race.

Personal

Your time with God is personal and will not be like everybody else's. Your relationship is customized to fit your life and not anyone else's. Just like naturally, you speak to different people in many ways. How God speaks to another person may be different from how God speaks to you. You may not have the "burning bush" (Exodus 3) experiences or angels walking in your room (Luke 1:26-38) as they did in the Bible but that doesn't mean that God isn't speaking to you or that He loves you less. You have to learn how to get a personal relationship with God for yourself and learn how to hear Him speak to you. He speaks to many through dreams, visions, books, shows, etc. At times, we can make it more difficult then it has to be to hear God's voice but if you just pay attention you'd notice He speaks all the time. He wants a relationship with you but it may be different from theirs and that's the beauty about our God, One God with so many ways to communicate and love on His people. So don't get stressed because you don't hear Him a certain way but open your eyes and heart to hear Him in a personal way. God wants to fellowship with you, be open. Remember, God knows what we need and how to get our attention so let Him love on you the way He sees fit. Stay in the race.

Challenge Yourself

Once you make up in your mind to walk by faith, you can then have everything God told you that you can have. When you make the choice to walk by faith and not by sight you then make the decision that regardless of what's thrown at you in life you refuse to stop moving forward(2 Corinthians 5:7). When you walk by faith you learn that what you see is temporary, subject to change, so you don't allow yourself to get distracted by a temporary situation. Know that faith will get you to where you desire to be because faith doesn't take no for an answer. When walking by faith you learn to see the impossible now possible. A wise person said, "Impossible is only a mindset." You learn to change that mindset. You begin to  understand that impossible is truly only a mindset and mindsets change when you take on God's perspective. Walking by faith may not be easy but it's necessary to see great dreams/promises happen. Understand when you're challenged you're being strengthened and matured. Faith comes to strengthen and mature you and to ultimately teach you to trust God. You may be saying well I've been walking by faith and nothing has happened but I'd like to encourage you to keep walking by faith because you could be at the cusp of your breakthrough. Don't let time discourage you but keep in mind that great things take time to develop. Also keep in mind that you're being prepared/trained for your next. So instead of focusing on how long it's taking to happen, keep your joy and stay on this faith walk.

Challenge yourself to walk by faith even more to see what may be impossible to someone else possible in your life. Remember, all you have to do is believe and keep moving forward, you'll get there. :) "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." NJKV Galatians 6:9. Stay encouraged.

You Don't Have to Know Everything

Knowing everything about your life is not necessary when God is leading it. What we must understand is that God has us in His best interest and we'll always be lead to victory. We have to keep in mind that God's love for us is beyond amazing and can't be totally comprehended. His love for us didn't even spare His Son(Romans 8:32). So we have to understand if God gave His only begotten Son for us, he definitely won't hold back any good thing(Psalm 84:11). Sometimes wanting to know too much can get you in trouble. Our focus shouldn't be on how God is going to do a certain thing for us but it should be on how good God is and worshiping Him. If Adam and Eve would've kept their focus right they would not have been distracted off what really mattered(Genesis 3). Their eyes didn't need to be opened anymore because God was already giving them what they needed in life. We have to be ok with what God allows us to know and trust him through what we don't know.(Proverbs 3:5-6) Just know that it's all working out for your good and He has a good future already paved ahead of you.(Romans 8:28,Jeremiah 29:11) So keep smiling and keep your joy. Learn to rest in God's Word and walk in peace(Isaiah 26:3). Stay encouraged.

See IT

Hey you all. I just wanted to leave a post to encourage everyone to keep seeing your situations change for the better. Even if you’ve met goals, keep making new ones and getting better. Learn to stay positive in life. Focus on God and the assignments He’s given you to complete. Handle each assignment God gives you as if you’re directly reporting to God. Colossians 3:23-24, "And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Do what you do to please God. Keep the task in eyes view, meaning stay focused on what you’re supposed to be doing.  Keep renewing your mind daily and treat everyday as a new day for new opportunities. Romans 12:2 "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." Don’t bring yesterdays disappointments into today but let your day start fresh each day and let your joy be renewed daily. Don’t look at problems as something permanent but keep in mind problems don’t last always. Each day remember you have something to be thankful for. Each day try to encourage and pray for at least one person. Learn to be more selfless every day. As you pray and help others you’ll start to notice favorable change happening in your life. Tell yourself everyday that things are working out for your good. (Romans 8:28). Keep seeing your “desired result” ,whatever it may be, in front of you. Don’t let anything change your mind about what God has already told you! I believe and I speak that we are coming into a season where people will know without a shadow of doubt that we belong to God. We will not only be able to help ourselves but those around us to give glory to God’s name. New business ideas and new promotions are all around. Don’t be shocked when you see and experience the favor of God on a new level. Stay encourage you all. If anyone has a prayer request feel free to email info.ibtm@gmail.com. God Bless.

Remembered

How do you want to be remembered? Think about it. Not telling you to think about this because you’re leaving Earth soon , lol, but to honestly think about the answer. A close friend of mine and myself was having this conversation a few weeks ago. We went to school together and was having a conversation about what we should really be representing. We both partied hard in school, etc, and was saying we didn’t want people to remember us as the “Party Girl” but as the “Child of God.”  There are some things I did in my past that I’m not proud of and I don’t want to be remembered from those things. I’d rather be remembered as the person who made a difference in someone else life, the person who changed their life around and became the light God called them to be. I’d rather be remembered as someone who honored God and allowed His will to be done in my life. I want people to know that your past doesn’t have to define you but you can accept the identification that God gave you, a Child of God. (John 1:12) You can stand out and do what God has called you to. Regardless of who stands beside you as you do what God called you to do, He’s always there. It’s better to stand out for God alone than to blend in with many lost in darkness. Do things that you’re proud of, not continually do things that you regret. EVERYBODY makes mistakes but that doesn’t mean you can’t get better. We’re to learn from our mistakes and experiences and grow to that person God wants us to be. Instead of being remembered as mean, conceited, selfish, careless, and irresponsible I’d rather be remembered as kind, loving, selfless, accountable, loyal, and faithful. In order to be identified with those positive attributes I have to continually choose to do better and to live a life submitted to God. Being the old person I used to be won’t get me there. It may take time to change but it’s possible. It doesn't matter if you've been a certain way for 25 years, you can choose to change today. So reflect and find out what you’d like to be identified with and let God help you to get there. Desire to be identified with the things God identify with. Desire to please God. Know that the best life you can live is a life lead by God. You don’t have to be like everybody else but you can be the person God desires you to be. God gives us choices and doesn’t force us to do anything, he’s a gentlemen, so choose to be proud of the things you represent, not regretful. When people mention your name, what do you want them to remember? Stay positive and keep loving others.

2013

Hey all! I wanted to take a moment to encourage you all to keep following after God. Whatever didn’t happen for your in 2012 keep expecting it to happen in 2013. Make sure what you’re desiring is aligned with God’s will and if so, do what’s necessary to see it manifest. Know that God can everything but fail! So keep a positive healthy mindset. Understand you’re in a place of victory because you’re being lead by God. You are where you’re supposed to be at this moment. Know that your steps are ordered by the Lord and look for the miraculous to happen this year (Psalm 37:23). Look for overflow in every area. Not only naturally but spiritually. Look to experience more of God’s glory. Look to be even closer to God this year. Know that the only things that last here is God/Word. So desire more things of Him. In 2013 realize your place of authority and exercise it. Don’t be deceived by a defeated foe. Don’t let excuses prevent you from seeing results. Don’t talk yourself out of your God ordained destiny because things are taking too long. But keep your mind stay on God and he’ll keep you in perfect peace. (Isaiah 26:3). Desire to let God use you more this year. Desire to help more people. Desire to encourage others. Desire to become more selfless. Begin to really have a heart for others. Never forget that we’re here to help ones who want to be helped. So keep your perspectives lined up with the Word and you’ll never be let down. Stay focused on having a deeper relationship with God and keep yourself surrounded with people who encouraged you to do better. Connect with others who have the same heartbeat and be about the Father’s business. It’s time for more Kingdom work to be done. So keep being that light everywhere you go and keep loving others.  There are people waiting for what you have so be willing to birth it. Never give up, you were made to win! Much love.
